I bring the toolkit of a researcher + designer to address wicked problems

I collaborate to make
meaningful & measurable impacts through research & design

My Toolkit

Scientific Research & Analysis UX/UI
Information Architecture

 Wire framing   User Testing

User Research Prototyping

Design Thinking  3D Modelling

Story Telling Architectural Design

My Approach

I begin by addressing 4 key dimensions:

-What is the problem area ?

-Why is it important to address it ?

-Who does it impact?

-How do we address it & measure impact of the proposed innovation?

This enables me to choose the most fitting radical or incremental design approach for it.

I then imagine an ideal world without or less of the given problem, & challenge myself to relentlessly build, fail, learn & literate, until I reach a meaningful & measurable level of success.

My take on
making a difference

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

- Albert Einstein

As a principle, I believe in constant systematic engagement with the problem space in order to efficiently manage, document & learn from early failure. I employ a combined use of deductive, inductive & abductive thinking to innovate at the micro and macro level.

On a lighter note...
Besides work and academia, I love taking a moment or two to pursue my hobbies. Recently I've been try my hand at the Kalimba after several years of playing the keys.  Being quite a devoted INTJ-T, I do find myself shy on social media but I thoroughly enjoy being in the company of friends and family. I cherish capturing good memories, however I almost always fail to capture on camera! Of course being the person I am, these memories are systematically designed to compose the perfect evening . Just kidding ! Usually I prefer these moments accompanied by great food, a conservative amount of small talk and an abundance intellectual conversations or, simply just some good humour!
